And by all means, all of you should come to AZ for Thanksgiving! There are a lot of us here to help spoil the boy's even more! Afterwards, it is up to you to undo all that we have done! When I typed "some years are like that" I was remembering holidays when Rick was out of town and I was juggling everything that goes with raising two kids and the perfect vision of what I had in mind was nothing like the reality that followed. But nonetheless it was still Christmas (even though I packed up both kids and took off in a Ford Taurus and drove to Eloy and Sierra Vista while Rick was off protecting some Federal Judge in Georgia!) and Halloween was still Halloween and Easter was still Easter, etc. etc. I can reflect this way only because my house is empty now and I can honestly tell you that some days/years are just tough but it does get better and they do grow up faster than you know. You are doing an amazing job with those three little guys (ok 4!) and we are so proud of you and Andy and the life you have created out there. One day soon you will have time for an extra uninterrupted cup of coffee or even an uninterrupted thought. Please know in the meantime, you are doing great and we pray for you all daily - for patience, for strength and wisdom in raising these wonderful boys. Even though we are all 2000 miles away, you will always have our love and support to get you guys through the tough times. Love, SharonAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
